Job Description

Gotham Digital Science is looking for a smart, energetic and motivated individual to add to its elite team of ethical hackers and consultants. As a penetration tester on our team, you will:

• Perform application penetration testing and application source code review against custom built software applications
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on Internet-facing systems
• Exploit vulnerabilities to gain access, and expand access to remote systems
• Document technical issues identified during security assessments
• Assist with building, hardening, and maintaining systems used for penetration testing
• Research cutting edge security topics and new attack vectors

Qualifications

The following qualifications are expected from potential applicants:

• Development and/or source code review experience in C/C++, C#, VB.NET, ASP, PHP, or Java
• University degree from an accredited college or university
• Strong Unix, Windows and networking security skills
• Familiarity with general application and network security concepts
• Excellent teaming and communication skills

The following skills are not required from applicants but would be considered a plus:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related major
• Manual penetration testing experience above and beyond running automated tools
• Experience developing custom scripts or tools used for vulnerability scanning and identification
